Normally when asking for a critique it is normal to ask question(s) as to what you want guidance on. FWIW this is a good photograph. Do let us know what you would like feedback on.

Hi Hussain,

There’s so much to love about this shot. The expression, the sharpness, the timing, all really strong. That water arc has so much energy and you caught it perfectly. I think the lighting works too. The only thing that pulled me out a bit was how close the splash gets to his mouth. It started to feel a little like spit to me, and once I saw that I couldn’t unsee it.

I did a quick edit and cleaned up those areas that were distracting. I also dodged the glasses a little to shift more attention up to his eyes. The mouth was grabbing most of the light, and I wanted to balance that. Gave the splash a soft dodge too to help it pop without being overpowering.

All the best,

Tammy

Hello, Hussain

Welcome to our forum. I agree with both friends. Firstly, I would like to have known what your request is because this is not an ordinary portrait. Secondly, as Tammy said the image has well achieved aspects like clarity, contrast and sharpness. The pose is original. I think just might miss a  chance to get published or even awarded because of the composition. The space above the head is scarce. Here the water splashed have been abrubtly cut off. It would have been great to see the water drops fading into the black. I used generative expand to demonstrate this on a  snapshot Except this I have no other remark. I wish you good light...Cicek

Welcome

I forgot to ask the questions

Do you find it suitable for publication with this modification or does it have something that needs to be modified !!

Hello

Thank you for the nice edit and criticism

The spray was really distracting to the viewer and I didn't pay attention to it

I find it suitable. That is not to say it will get publised. (It probably will.) Tammy's edit is better for the eyes and wouldn't be difficult to achieve.
